This website is operated by BlueBlox, a Swiss-based international trade compliance consultancy firm that provides services to clients in Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

BlueBlox collects your personal data when you request and/or supply information to us through the site including when you fill out a subscription form for our products and services, consult expertise inquiry, opt in to receive emails and/or newsletters from BlueBlox, agree to participate in surveys or apply for job at BlueBlox.

  • Law enforcement authorities or government bodies when we are required to do so
  • Our advisors

Third parties, other than law enforcement authorities or government bodies, will only handle your personal data on behalf of BlueBlox for the purposes described in our privacy policy. BlueBlox will not sell or otherwise share your personal data with such parties for their personal use.

JOB APPLICANTS


If you apply for a job at BlueBlox, you will be asked to submit personal information such as your name, contact details, information related to your education and work experience and any other background information that might be relevant for your application or that you choose to share with us. If you do not provide this information, we might not be able to process your application.


BlueBlox will use this information to assess your application and candidacy for the position which you have applied for. This may include, inter alia, evaluating your skills and experience in relation to the qualification requirements for the job to which you have applied, tracking feedback and interactions we have with you throughout the recruitment process. We may also use your information when analyzing our internal recruiting processes to determine (i)how to improve integration and training programs (ii)how to enhance our interview mode to improve hiring quality (iii)which recruitment sources to focus on. We may also use your personal information to communicate to you about our events and send you publications that we think might be of interest to you.


We may also share your personal information with other BlueBlox offices, and third parties including background check providers, IT system providers and recruitment service providers. These BlueBlox offices and third parties may be located in a different country other than your country of residence.

CHILDREN


BlueBlox is not directed to children under the age of 16 years, we will therefore not intentionally collect personal information about anyone under the age of 16 years, and request that such information be not submitted to us.


If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please Contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
